100 Pearl Street Gallery

100 Pearl Street Gallery is located within the lobby of 100 Pearl Street next to the Greater Hartford Welcome Center and managed by the Greater Hartford Arts Council. The gallery space represents the Arts Council's role in supporting local artists by providing a venue for fine art in a public gallery setting and increasing the awareness of local artists within the Greater Hartford community.

Gallery Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-7pm.

Paintings by Matthew Best

Matthew Best, a teacher at Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, presents an exhibit of colorful abstract acrylic paintings of organic geometric shapes demonstrating his search for physical and mental harmony. Best's work strives to depict the delicate balance of conflicting internal and external forces on the body using the vocabulary of painting.
