Using the arts to transform our communities.
"The Importance of Being Earnest" by Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc, Artscape Grants recipient.
From amateur theatre that brings together neighbors, friends and families to walking tours, exhibits and events that celebrate the rich diversity of the towns we serve, Artscape Grants (formerly known as Neighborhood Arts & Heritage) support those programs that use the arts to improve the quality of life of our communities—making them more exciting and vibrant places to live.
These grants fund creative projects and programs by arts, heritage, cultural and social service organizations within our 34-town service area. Grants are funded by the Greater Hartford Arts Council's United Arts Campaign and designated gifts to the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut.
