Queen Anne Nzinga Center

Tanairy Barton is an avid performing artist and singer currently attending Tunxis Community College. She has been a youth leader and international performer with QANC for over 5 years. She love helping others and is works in the childcare field, and she wants to use her performing arts skills to help others.

Sabrina Jones is entering her junior year at East Catholic High School. She plays basketball, soccer, piano, violin, sings and runs track and field. She is a jazz singer who likes to listen to R&B and Gospel music.  Sabrina is a leader and has created performance that sends a message of freedom and human rights for all people. Currently Sabrina has developed a music program in East Hartford to teach young people musical performing techniques.

Onyae Hill is entering her sophomore year at Bristol Eastern High school. She loves music and is a primary vocalist in her church choir. She is also part of her church praise dance team and sings in the Bristol Eastern music department where she was selected and received a scholarship to attend the prestigious Laurel Music Camp.

Tanairy, Sabrina, and Onyae will be featured performers as members of the Queen Ann Nzinga Center. QANC is a New Britain-based nonprofit organization that equips young people with the tools they need to be successful, productive citizens using the arts.

Dan Liparini Trio

The Dan Liparini Trio is made up of graduates from the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz at the Hartt School of Music. The trio performs selections from the Great American Songbook, and features Alex Tremblay on bass and Eric Hallenbeck on drums, both of whom are based in Brooklyn, NY.

Southington Community Cultural Arts

SoCCA’s teaching artist will be presenting works from the organization’s All Access Art program, a curriculum of interactive art lessons for adults with intellectual disabilities. All Access Art provides creative skills training, meaningful income, and connects students with their community while enhancing their quality of life.

Explore color theory and emotion through the mesmerizing movement of alcohol ink. Artist Bri Dill will be demonstrating and displaying works live at The Art Social!

The Hartford Dance Collective

The Hartford Dance Collective shares professional contemporary dance with new audiences by providing performances in diverse locations. They aim to empower women to have a voice and an equal opportunity in dance by providing choreographic and leadership opportunities. Look out for a special collaboration with the Dan Liparini Trio!
