Join the Elizabeth Park Conservancy for a delicious Sunday brunch and live jazz concert onstage at the Pond House in Elizabeth Park. The group will perform jazz standards and selections from the iconic Great American Songbook, a collection of the most memorable American music from the 1920s to the ’50s.
Musicians include senior Nathaniel Cromie on trombone, senior Shaun Flynn on alto sax, senior Jeremy Galloway on guitar, junior Joshua Leslie on drums and Nat Reeves on bass.
Brunch for all guests begins at 11 am and includes a variety of the Pond House’s famous house-made sweets, fresh fruit salad, vegetable quiche, home-fried potatoes, chicken piccata, dessert, coffee, tea and juices along with a cash bar.
The Nat Reeves Student Jazz Ensemble will perform two sets beginning at 11:45 am. Last year’s inaugural concert was performed to a near sold-out crowd, so please purchase your tickets early to make sure you have a seat.
