The Arts Council is proud to partner with Travelers for Press Play, a virtual “lunchtime” music series. Press Play premiered in the fall of 2020 as a way for us to feature some of Greater Hartford’s finest talent, and we’re excited to bring it back for another year!
The call for artists is officially open as of Monday, April 26. Performances will be recorded in various outdoor locations around Hartford and will be recorded in partnership with Parkville Sounds. Performances last 20 minutes and air on the Greater Hartford Arts Council’s Facebook page and the Travelers employee intranet.
Musicians of all genres are invited to apply. If selected, bands will be paid at a rate of $500 per performance. This rate applies whether a solo musician, band, or ensemble perform.
