Volunteering

The Greater Hartford Arts Council has many opportunities to volunteer, from helping us at an event or special project or utilizing your talents as a professional service or as an artist. Arts Ambassadors Being an Arts Ambassador is about actively promoting the arts by communicating the benefits and importance of the arts in our communities to your neighbors, co-workers, and legislators. Anyone can be an arts advocate!

Ways to Give

Giving to the Greater Hartford Arts Council can be done in many different ways. What works for you is our first priority, so if you want to give once a year, get involved in a Grow Arts campaign or sponsor one of our signature creative events. The choice is yours.

Sponsorship

Arts Council sponsorships help us sustain our vision and mission the art is a must to transform our community while giving your business brand awareness through a reputable non-profit organization that serves the art community of the Hartford region. Sponsors receive added benefits, including access to hospitality events, discounted ticket rates, marketing collateral, website & social media mentions, and exclusive branding opportunities at our signature events.

Board Of Arts Ambassadors

The Greater Hartford Arts Council’s Board of Governors is comprised of community leaders who are ready to elevate access to the arts and create a community of belonging.  Members of the Board of Governors serve as ambassadors for the Greater Hartford Arts Council and the capital region’s arts and culture community.

What is Culturalyst?

Culturalyst is a free, online artist directory produced through the Greater Hartford Arts Council, connecting artists with their audiences and one another in a new way. This program brings the best of what search engines and social media have to offer.

In just minutes, artists and organizations alike can create a free profile to have access to an international array of workshops and funding opportunities. At the same time, anyone interested in booking a performer, a photographer, or just wanting to discover new music can use this platform.
