Arts Council Welcomes New Board Chairman, President 

We are pleased to announce that David A. Carter has been appointed chair of its board of directors and Gena Glickman has been elected president of the board.  The announcement was made during the Arts Council’s Annual Celebration, held on July 14th at Real Art Ways. Learn more.
Theaterworks, Knox Join Neighborhood Studios Program

Theaterworks Hartford and Knox Inc. join the Arts Council's nationally-recognized summer apprenticeship program, Neighborhood Studios, to provide hands-on artistic training to area teens. Learn more.
Regional Art Programs Receive Critical Funding through Artscape Grants

Local Businesses Partner with Arts Council for Arts Innovation Day 

The Greater Hartford Arts Council will host the first Arts Innovation Day, a free day of professional learning for arts nonprofit professionals in collaboration with local business leaders from Travelers, The Hartford, Aetna, and more.
