Cultural Districts are walkable, vibrant areas officially recognized by the State of Connecticut for their concentration of arts, culture, and creative businesses. Each district is unique, reflecting the history, character, and community spirit of the town it represents.
At the Greater Hartford Arts Council, we’re proud to help municipalities in our region navigate the process of establishing these districts, from early exploration all the way to state approval.
