Sierra Club CT presents:
Join Alycia D Jenkins, poet, writer, historian, and activist , as she takes us on a walk through the city of Hartford with an 1800's flair. We will be walking in the footsteps of Hartford born 19th century African American and Native American poet, educator, and needlework stitcher, Ann Plato. The walk is about a mile and a half, visiting sites where Ann lived and where Alycia found her while studying at Trinity College. Please wear appropriate outer clothing and shoes for walking.
