The Avon Free Public Library presents ‘Looking at Art: A Memory Care Program’ on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. 


Led by a trained museum educator from the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, Connecticut, this art appreciation program is for adults with memory loss and their caregivers, both professional and family. Art related to the theme of planes, trains, and automobiles from the Bruce Museum’s collection and recent exhibitions will be displayed and discussed. No previous art knowledge is required. The program will be held at the Avon Free Public Library, 281 Country Club Road, Avon, CT.


The same program will be presented twice: at 11:00 am and at 1:00 pm. Please register for the one that best fits your schedule. The program will be held in the library’s Community Room and the number of participants will be limited to allow for social distancing as well as a more personalized experience.
