HARTFORD, CONN. Real Art Ways welcomes back trombonist, composer, and arranger Papo Vázquez and his band the Mighty Pirates Troubadours for our annual concert and holiday parranda on Saturday, December 2 at 7:00pm. The parranda is a participatory event. Patrons who bring an instrument and play along will receive free admission. Real Art Ways is located at 56 Arbor Street, Hartford. Tickets are $10.00 for general admission.

Parranda de aguinaldo (Christmas folk music), is an Afro-Indigenous musical form played during the holidays in various Caribbean and Latin American countries including Puerto Rico, Cuba, Trinidad, and the coastal area of the states of Aragua and Carabobo in Venezuela.
