Rain Date(s): No inclement weather plan is in place for the music festival. Any cancellations are determined the prior day by 5 pm and our website is updated, and social media is updated and shared.  

Dance classes may be canceled due to inclement weather - whether heat, heavy rain, or thunderstorms - day of event. Instructors are notified, and cancellations are shared via social media as well as posted on our website.

Description of the Event: 

Hartbeat Music Festival - we return the festival to a one-day event, filled with high-quality performances by a broad and diverse range of CT musicians, the majority of whom write and perform their own music. This showcases the skills and talents of home-grown musicians. Music ranges from: spoken word to folk to jazz to rock to bluegrass and so many more music genres. Band applications open in February 2023, and we anticipate another strong response that needs to be curated to feature multiple genres, giving repeat and new opportunities to the selected performing groups.
