Hartford Creates is designed to elevate the creative economy, increase engagement and diversity within the arts community and create access and awareness of the arts through strategic activation.

This innovative partnership between the City of Hartford and the Greater Hartford Arts Council showcases how the Arts Council applies strategic expertise, creative collaboration and arts mobilization planning to position the greater Hartford region as an arts destination. The Arts Council is committed to community vitality and enriching our creative economy and will use Hartford Creates to further heal, transform and elevate access to the arts through immersive arts experiences.

Hartford Creates will:
