Milton Avery forged a staunchly independent path as an artist through his use of harmonious color and simplified forms. Immerse yourself in Avery’s colorful world as curator Erin Monroe examines the artist’s rich creative trajectory, beginning with the early Connecticut works and tracing through to the artist’s late abstractions. Free with museum admission. Meet in front of the Museum Shop.
