XIII Chopin International Piano Competition: Winners Concert and Awards Ceremony

XIII Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, CT will take place as in-person event on March 9-13, 2022 at Asylum Hill Congregational Church in Hartford, CT.
The event is presented by Connecticut Chopin Foundation, Inc.


We are thrilled to share with you a huge news that we had received 91 applications from pianists from such countries as Albania, Armenia, Canada, China, Japan, Poland, South Korea, Taiwan and USA.
As always our jury will include world renown artists:
Krystian Tkaczewski, Poland / USA - President
Nikita Fitenko, Russia / USA
Igal Kesselman, Israel / USA
Pavel Nersessian, Russia
Adolfo Vidal, Venezuela / USA
All auditions will take place at the 800 seat auditorium of Asylum Hill Congregational Church in Hartford on Steinway D concert piano.
The Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, CT was founded by maestro Krystian Tkaczewski in 2010 to commemorate bicentennial anniversary of Fryderyk Chopin birthday. Since then, it has transformed into one most prestigious piano competitions in New England and one of most important Chopinesque events in USA.

As we received applications from winners of multi international piano competitions, I am confident that we will continue to find and recognize more piano diamonds in 2022 edition.
The competition will haven been concluded with the winners concert and award ceremony on March 13, 3 PM at Asylum Hill Congregational Church in Hartford, CT.
