One of the most anticipated annual events in downtown Hartford, the Pratt Street Salsa Socials bring the Hartford-area community together for a night of unforgettable salsa dancing.
Renaissance Gyal
“Renaissance Gyal” explores the ways in which Black women have set a precedent for culture in America, while simultaneously being erased. Through each movement, song, and monologue, the piece tells the stories of those of Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Latinx, Afro-American, and African heritage who have come to make America home.
Live Music in the Lobby at Hartford Stage
This event series is intended to serve multiple purposes: to establish Hartford Stage as a welcoming civic destination for the downtown area; to cultivate our institution’s relationship with local artists; and to grow our theatre’s audience by increasing the public’s familiarity with our space.

ART ManiFESTation 2023
The ART maniFESTation is now entering its 3rd year as celebration of the arts and creativity in Connecticut. ART maniFESTation is an immersive art experience that stimulates all five senses and transports our guests to experience the future of Connecticut's vibrant communities through ART, CREATIVITY, and CULTURE. The 2023 experience will include a blend of the 2021 all-day festival and the 2022 immersive event that honored the artists creating all the murals throughout Connecticut.
Re-Writing History: A literary & Performance Workshop and Play Production
A theatrical play, "Re-Writing History in Kaleidoscope" will consist of spoken word oral history, poetry, and monologues accompanied by music and dancers, directed by, Michael Green.
