In advance of Fired Up: Glass Today, the Wadsworth has acquired an important sculpture by one of the world’s leading hot glass sculptors Martin Blank. Join objects conservator Casey Mallinckrodt as she reveals the processes involved in preparing Torso (c. 2010) for display and learn about the steps involved in caring for the wide range of glass objects in the museum collection.
